FAQS
Oven & Cooktop Repair Questions
Can you repair my oven if it's still under warranty?
Yes. We can repair ovens still under manufacturer’s warranty. For the repair to be covered under warranty, contact the manufacturer directly and request a work order confirming warranty coverage and authorisation. Once we receive the valid work order, we’ll proceed with the warranty repair.
If you prefer to proceed without a manufacturer’s work order, we’re happy to repair your oven on a chargeable basis. Either way, our repairs won’t void your manufacturer’s warranty when carried out to manufacturer repair standards.
How much does an oven repair typically cost?
We always provide a clear service call-out fee over the phone before attending. If parts or additional labour are needed, we’ll quote and get your approval before starting work – no hidden costs.
Can you fix my oven today?
In many cases, yes! Same-day appointments may be available. However, this will be subject to technician availability and location.
Please contact our office team (available from Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–7:00 PM, and Saturday 8:30 AM–4:30 PM) to schedule urgent repairs and confirm availability.
For critical oven issues, priority repair appointments may be available during business hours.
Is it worth repairing an older oven, or should I replace it?
Good question! This depends on what we find during diagnosis. Our technician typically looks at:
From our experience, around 90% of ovens (even older models) are worth repairing. However, if repair isn’t the most economical option, we’ll advise you honestly.
Why does my oven need a professional? Can't I fix it myself?
Ovens involve high-voltage electrical systems and (in some cases) gas lines – both are safety hazards. DIY repairs can void warranties, create fire risks, and damage the appliance further. Our qualified, in-house trained technicians are best positioned to ensure safety, warranty protection, and lasting results.
Do you repair both gas and electric ovens?
Yes, we’re certified for both gas and electric oven repairs. Gas ovens require additional expertise with ignition systems and gas safety—our technicians are fully qualified for both.
What warranty comes with your oven repairs?
All repairs are backed by a 12-month warranty on parts and 3 months on labour.
What if you can't fix my oven on the first visit?
Most oven repairs are completed on the first visit. For complex faults, our technician will fully diagnose the issue, explain what’s needed, and outline next steps.
Our technicians have access to in-house technical support – senior technicians, service manuals, and manufacturer bulletins – to help deal with more complex diagnostics and error codes. In some cases, further testing or workshop diagnosis may be required.
In the rare event an oven can’t be repaired (such as when parts are no longer available), we’ll be honest with you upfront. As a complete solution, we also supply, install, and remove replacement ovens.
What if parts for my broken oven are no longer available straight from the manufacturer?
We can custom-make and install oven door glass and heating elements, including fan-forced, grill, and standard oven elements – so we can repair many appliances that would otherwise need replacing.
When parts aren’t available, we’ll custom-make them if possible, or get you a quote for a new unit. Either way, we’ve got you covered.
