National Appliance Repairs publishes repair guides, appliance advice, and location-specific service information to help households and businesses across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth make informed decisions about their appliances. This page explains how that content is produced, reviewed, and kept accurate.
What we publish content for
Our articles exist to answer real questions our technicians hear on the job: why an appliance is faulting, whether a repair or replacement makes sense, what a fault typically costs to fix, and how to avoid the problem recurring. We don't publish content to fill space or chase search rankings with thin advice. If a topic doesn't help a reader understand their appliance or make a better decision, we don't publish it.
Who writes and reviews our content
Content is developed by our writing team in consultation with our in-house trained technicians, who bring the field experience of diagnosing and repairing major domestic and commercial appliance brands. Technical claims about fault symptoms, repair processes, and typical costs are checked against that field experience before publication.
How we source and verify information
Where an article makes a factual or technical claim, for example about manufacturer warranty terms, appliance safety standards, or energy efficiency, we prioritise the following sources, in order:
- Our own service and warranty terms, confirmed against our current service pages.
- Manufacturer documentation and manufacturer-recommended repair processes.
- Official Australian sources, including relevant standards bodies, energy and safety regulators, and government agencies.
- Established industry references, used only to fill gaps not covered by the sources above.
We don't rely on unverified third-party blogs, forums, or competitor content for factual claims. Where we're not confident in a figure or claim, we either verify it directly or leave it out rather than publish something unconfirmed.
Advertising, sponsorship, and affiliate links
We don't accept payment from appliance manufacturers, parts suppliers, or any other business in exchange for coverage, rankings, or product mentions in our articles. Where we name a brand, it's because it's relevant to the repair or comparison being discussed, not because of a commercial arrangement.
Keeping content accurate over time
Appliance models, manufacturer warranty terms, and repair costs change. We review published articles periodically and update them when we identify outdated information, particularly around pricing references, brand or model details, and manufacturer guidance. Substantial updates are reflected in the article's last-updated date.
Corrections
If you spot an error in one of our articles, whether it's a factual mistake, an outdated figure, or a broken link, we want to know. Contact us with the article title and the issue, and we'll review and correct it promptly. We don't quietly rewrite articles to hide mistakes; where a correction changes the substance of an article's advice, we update the last-updated date to reflect it.
