This covers the first 30 minutes of labor. After the initial 30 minutes, labor is charged at $49 for every additional 15 minutes, plus the cost of any required spare parts.
Usually, repairing your appliance is more cost-effective than replacing it. However, the overall cost depends on the extent of the damage, the time required for the repair, and the parts needed. In some cases, it might be more affordable to replace your appliance rather than repair it.
Generally, you can expect it to be cheaper to repair your appliance, with an estimated cost savings of 5-10%.
Some examples of how much it would cost to repair an appliance are:
- Washing machine not draining water . This will usually be a blockage and will usually take 30min to repairs thus $154.00 plus the cost of a new drain pump will be $125.00
- Oven not heating, service call $154.00 plus replacement element will cost $121.00
- Fridge not cooling, service call $154.00 plus evaporator fan motor will cost $145.00
The time it takes to repair an appliance depends on various factors, including the type of appliance, the extent of the damage, and the availability of spare parts.
We typically carry a large variety of parts in our vans, so there’s a high chance we can get your appliance up and running the same day. However, if the part is not on hand or out of stock, you can expect a wait time of 3 to 5 days or 7 to 10 business days.
But generally, you can expect it to be cheaper to repair your appliance and we estimate it to be 5 – 10% cheaper.
